Radiohead's Fake Plastic Trees (May 15, 1995)
Fifteen years ago today, on May 15, 1995, Radiohead released "Fake Plastic Trees," the third single from their second album, The Bends. Earlier this year, we here at Chronological Snobbery paused to reflect upon it, a nearly perfect rock song. You can find that prior commentary here.
Thirty-something suffering from nostalgia but, thankfully, not from bouts of irony. Here, I will revisit artifacts of popular culture not sufficiently explored elsewhere, though I may perhaps stray from that mission at times.

My favorite Radiohead record. By a long way.
It is, in so many ways, the perfect rock song.
