Rumor has it that Ryan, author of the now defunct pop culture blog The League of Melbotis, has scored four tickets to see the Austin premiere of Birdemic: Shock and Terror, the brainchild of the auteur James Nguyen. This is a cause for great envy. Alas, though, as he is no longer a blogger, we will have no way of knowing how truly wonderful this event was. Perhaps he'll dash off a quick summary of the film for publication at this site. We'll see.
